New look

I'm always so inspired by all the fantastic blogs I see. So creative! I thought I'd do a little playing with it myself. Bear with me. No tellin' what my blog might look like while experimenting!

We are very excited about this weekend. We had so much fun at Schlitterbahn, Galvestion last year that we decided to do it again. Easy vacation and tolerable with the gas prices what they are. Here are a few shots of lasts years fun. We still get a kick out of watching ourselves boogy board on youtube! And we've already decided what rides we will repeat and which ones we will NOT be braving this year.

Seems that the kids have changed so much since then! We'll try to take lots of pics this year too. It's a tough one to get the camera at just the right angle while it's in the waterproof bag and you are being sloshed to and fro.

Also, Mike added a comment on the last post that I don't know if everyone got a chance to read. I wanted to paste it on here 'cause we girls are so proud of our captain and his crew!

"We got word Sunday evening that we won the Novice class. Even though we did not attend the regatta on Sunday we still won. They only got in one race on Sunday and they dropped everyones worst race. So that was ours. We won a sailing regatta while setting in church! It just doesn't get better than that. CTR Good lesson for the boys."
