Bitten and more!

I think my Mike has 'bout given up on me and this blog thing. It's so hard to keep up! How's about just pictures and a few words this time. (Mike here, I add a few more words and posted this since she has been too busy...This has set in draft mode unpublished for days...the blog must go on!!)
The book club from church really bit on the Twilight book series so when the movie came out it was time for the girls to have a night out!

I needed to do something special for my wife since I didn't want her to make plans to run away with "Edward" the vanpire.

Chelle was so excited about the movie that I felt a suprise was in order! The kids and I went to Walmart and picked out a black mock-turtleneck to customize for her. I looked around on the net for some ideas of what to put on it. I used my awesome skills on the embroidery machine and stitched up a shirt for her. She was certainly "bitten" so that's what I put on it. She is a major "Fanpire". (I love a good play on words) . She came home that night while I was embroidering this and caught me in the act. Darn, suprise spoiled. But she stil loved it! Said it was the sweetest thing I had done for her since the "Les Miserables" Tickets. I love you Chelle!
Now on to the kids...

That's Zack at his first Boy Scout camping event. He's official! And saving a Teddy Bear way up that pole.
Troop 460 Patrol campsite

Zack in action staking down the tent. (note to self, small metal stakes not good for 20 mph wind)

Zack and Graham prepare the rain fly. (Test flight). Never before was setting up a tent so easy. The baseball field lights made it bright as day.

Zack's first campout as a Boy Scout. We camped on a baseball field on the Chapel grounds in Alvin. The boys did a great job setting up the tent. It was a very windy and cold night as a cold front blew through.

Zack's crossing over was short and sweet. We are proud of him and he's way excited to be a Boy Scout. Finally he can join Mike and Graham.
Here Zack had to light rays of the arrow of light as points of scouting were described
Zack about to receive his arrow of light. The highest rank in Weblos. He will be able to wear the emblem for Arrow of Light on his Boy Scout uniform.
