Cruisin' Together

In October Mike and I were able to experience our first cruise. We had a blast! It was a Western Caribbean on the Carnival Conquest for 7 days.

Loved that we enjoy each other’s company enough to spend it with just each other.
Didn’t love being away from the kids for so long.
Loved the endless variety of food everywhere we turned.
Didn’t love the stuffed feeling every single moment of each day.
Loved getting to see other parts of the world, hiking and snorkeling.
Didn’t love Jamaica.
Loved coming back to the room to a new towel animal and mint chocolate.
Didn’t love being dog tired every night after partying hard.
Loved having our pictures taken professionally most every night.
Didn’t love that we couldn’t buy all of them.
Loved basking in the sun without a care in the world.
Didn’t love the icky old, intoxicated man hitting on me.

Loved that we got a balcony room and enjoyed the wonderful sound of waves each night.
Didn’t love that we had a smoker for a balcony neighbor.

There really were so many more loves than didn’t love, it was well worth it. I recommend that everyone experience a cruise at least once in their lifetime. If there is a next time, I hope to be able to take the kids with us. We took too many pictures to count so here are just a few for your viewing pleasure.
