Paint Party!

The morning was a bit slow today. I stayed up way too late, (this is a bad habit that Mike has taught me since we've been married,) so getting up this morning was a bit rough. When I finally did reach consciousness, I couldn't feel my left hand and arm. It reminded me of a time in high school when I fell asleep on my belly and awoke with both arms snuggled under my chest. Needless to say, it was quite challenging, and kind of scary, trying to figure out how the heck I was going to get both arms out from under me when I couldn't even feel them!! Anyway, this morning I managed to regain arm use and got going with my day.

Started out buying donuts for the kids, and Mike, of course. It was just one of those days I was caught in a fun mood. I was very good and only ate about 3 donut holes. It was tough! Mike was working from home today so Graham and I snuck out while Maddie and Zack stuck around the house. We went to Home Depot, Bed Bath and Beyond, then Walmart. I don't dare take all three kids to Walmart anymore... it makes me crazy! At Home Depot we bought paint and supplies for our upstairs bathroom. As soon as we got home, we started on our exciting project. Graham is really into painting projects and I love the before and after. We started at about 2p and I finished at about 8p. Funny how that works. Anyhow, it looks great! As soon as it is complete I'll put pics up on this site.

Mike had the boy scouts over for the movie Pride on the big screen. This was to go towards their Citizenship in the Community merit badge. Graham has a buddy over for the night and I just tucked Maddie and Zack in. Mike is doing all kinds of research about the iPhone and how people are hacking ways to get more out of the gadget. He was about to make a permanent modification to my Nano charger by cutting wires to make it compatable with the iPhone when I caught him red-handed. I've got to keep my eye on him! Looks like another late nighter!
