We had a great time together on our family vacation. We traveled far to the wonderful island of Galveston. OK, not so far, but it was great fun! We spent our first day at Schlitterbahn. The sun was rough but the rides were great. Our Maddie and Zack were fearless and were almost always one step ahead of us on the "scary" rides. Mike and I were a little less confident, but we battled out the rides and survived. Graham was our take-it-easy adventurer, loving the lazy river. When we were good and water-logged, we decided to call it quits for the night and headed to the Hilton Hotel for check-in. After getting cleaned up we walked to the Rainforest Cafe and shared 3 steak dinners and a Volcano dessert!! No skimping out this vacation. We (Mike and I) had a sleepless night with Maddie practicing Karate in her sleep and the boys yelling out their dreams. Not to mention that we were pretty much burnt to a crisp. And if that wasn't enough, after a breakfast at IHOP, we went right back to Schlitterbahn the next day for MORE! Day 2 was a little less adventurous, but so fun none the less. We headed home that night and slept so good in our own beds. And as if THAT wasn't enough, we headed out to the Texas City Dike Saturday morning for a day of sailing. The wind was lacking so it was more of a day of boogie boarding and skid boarding. By that time, we got smart and bought some water shirts for everyone. Next year I'm thinking Hawaii.... Mike is thinking "new sports car." To be continued...

I'm so glad you have a blog! I love to keep updated on what everyone is doing through their blogs! :o) Your Galveston trip looks like it was a lot of fun! We did the Galveston thing last year, but we just did the beach and Moody Gardens!! Hope all is well with you guys! I look forward to seeing more of what's going on with you and your family!

Well Well well, look who decided to join the rest of the world and add to the pollution on the internet. Wow, can I just say that you look GREAT. Its acutally kinda funny because its been so long since we last saw each other, and the last image I have of you in my head is that time we went skinny dipping in the provo river. You mentioned in your last post I think that this is your attempt at a journal, well my wife's sister has a blog just for her kids and there is a company that will print off your blog for you. They print it off once a year and that is her kids journal...complete with pictures. My wife is going to start doing that for our kids too. Its really a great idea.
