Week gone by

I have been giving flu shots all week. I worked about 7a to 4p Monday through Friday and I was worn out! I don't know how in the world my two sisters do it, working full time, going to school and caring for kids. They are super women I guess!

So my mom was cleaning out her freezer the other day and found Mike and my wedding cake top! We've been married almost 3 years and I guess we just forgot about it. Oops! Suppose to eat it for the 1st wedding anniversary, right? Anyway, after three years of being wrapped up good and frozen I thought it would still be yummy. WRONG! It was pretty nasty. Here's a photo of our fake partaking of the cake. We had a good laugh.

This weekend has been great fun. Last night we went to the Pearland vs Brazoswood High School football game. My niece, Cheyenne, was in the band so it was extra exciting to be there. We sat on the Brazoswood side because it's my alumni school. It was the first football game we've been to as a family and first football game for the kids. I believe the kids were more interested in the concession stand. Mike and I enjoyed the game and especially enjoyed the marching band at halftime. Brought back great memories of our old band days. Pearland beat B-wood 26 to 18. We've decided we got to sit on the winning side next game!

It's been a great weekend! Conference weekend too to top things off. We will have a relaxing Sunday watching Conference at home. Ah, the conveniences of technology! Exciting news to hear we have a whole Presidency again. Enjoy your weekend!

i was a band geek as well....hmmm, not exactly. i was part of flags, but not the tall flags. i know, doesn't make any sense, b/c most people have near even heard of short flags, let alone seen them. so that was me as well. i LOVE, love, LOVE half time shows....lots of memories there as well.
