Bowling league a no-go

We went bowling for family home evening last night. It was great fun and even better now that the Pearland bowling center is smokefree! Granted, we had bumpers for the little ones but honestly I think I benefited from them just as much. Pathetic! Here are the scores:

Go Graham for tying with Dad! Poor Graham got a stinky deal. We were making rules for the game like 2 strikes for Mike gets him a 250cc scooter, 3 strikes gets him a 500cc scooter, etc. We also told the kids that if they got a strike without touching the bumpers then they would get 100 bucks. Well no one made it during the first game. We frantically started a new game with only about 10 minutes left and Graham scored a perfect non-bumper strike. He was pretty darn excited until he found out the rules were only for the first game! Then he was pretty disappointed. He's been hitting us up for 100 bucks all day today! And Mike is still stuck with his 50cc scooter for now!

Anybody read that Heath Ledger died today? He was the main actor in A Knight's Tale. I'm so sad, he was such a great actor and so handsome. They think it was drugs which shouldn't surprise me but I'm still so sad. It's for this reason that I don't watch the news on TV!

On a happy note, I got my whole house cleaned today! YEAH!
