But for now, I cannot deny my blog of this very special experience.
Lifelong friends. That's what we are.
I met Margo in 4th grade. I don't remember the details but they must have been good because we were pretty much inseperable throughout the rest of elementary, intermediate and most of high school. We kept in touch awhile after graduation then drifted off our separate ways.Until now. Facebook brought us together for lunch. We managed to chat for 3 hours straight about everything. It was great fun! We last spoke 10 years ago as young single women and reunited yesterday, married with children. You can imagine that we had plenty to talk about!
After lunch, I pondered our visit. It was interesting that our lives have turned out the way they have. Nothing at all like I had expected, or planned and yet, I'm happy. Who knows what the future holds. At least we have wonderful friends and family along the way!

What fun! I'm glad you guys got to reconnect. Not everyone has the kind of friend that you can miss seeing for years and when you finally do get together, it's like you never skipped a day apart. I have that too and it's a treasure. I hope you keep in touch from now on. Good job on making that happen.
