Spring cleaning.

Since we are on the topic of getting rid of things, I thought I should post that we finally got rid of "Dad" the pillow man. A pillow man just doesn't have the life expectancy you might imagine.
He too has brought us much joy.

We played one last prank with him. It was Zack's genious idea to place "Dad" in the back of Graham's car, buckled in of course. We couldn't resist the thought of what it might have looked like when Graham got in the car at 5:30 in the morning heading off to seminary and turned his head to see behind him. Only to find this huge lump of old, dead pillows in the back.

Unfortunately, we planted "Dad" a little too soon and Graham found him on the way to a fireside Sunday evening. He was surprised nontheless. It just didn't give him the heart attack we thought it would.

Here are a couple of pictures of us ridding of it. While I was carrying the big lug out, Zack did some last minute Sharpie improvements, donning "Dad" with some significant facial hair and Maddie sent him off with a kiss.
