When we moved into our home on Cypress Village, we never did purchase sod in the back yard. I think we were trying to save money or something crazy like that. We regretted it for several reasons and decided that with this move, eventually we would have some nice grass in the back. Mike researched a good deal and just a couple of weekends ago, we had sod delivered right to our back yard. Oh my.
We got started at around 9am and finished earlier than I thought we would at about 2 in the afternoon. With the help of all three kids, it was easier than I thought it would be. It wasdefinitely hard labor, but the weather was perfect and the kids were such good sports. And it looks so very nice!
A real back yard with real grass, a trampoline, a couple of trees and a garden. Can't beat that!
Just because Chelle is not in the picture, doesn't mean she didn't work real hard too! :-) She just didn't necessarily want others to see her yucky, sweaty self work hard.
