We are all looking forward to meeting this little one! She is certainly a mover and a shaker so far but is still letting momma sleep through the night. Big sister is busy but will exclaim, weekly at least, that she can't wait until baby cakes gets here. Big brothers are still not performing jumps for joy, but they like to feel the occasional series of hiccups coming from the belly. Dad-to-be-again puts up with momma's complaining and often expresses his love to baby girl. Lots of love already!

We've taken care of the big things so far, getting great deals on a stroller, carrier, and basinett. So many friends have offered their gently used things as well. We have a baby shower coming up and I'm looking forward to seeing so many that I've not seen in a very long time. Here are a few sweet pics of Mike and kids assembling.

The name game has been a struggle for us. I never imagined it would be so hard to settle on a perfect name. I feel a lot of pressure as I get asked daily what we will call her. Hopefully it will all come together at the last minute when she finally gets here. Some of our favorites are Myka, Ashton and Devri. It's just a name, right?!!

Momma still feels great (with the occasional ailment that comes with pregnancy) and is still working full time at the elementary school. I complain about having to get up and go every weekday but really, it's keeping me busy and active. Otherwise, I'm afraid I would be a chronic complaining bump on a log at home. Not sure what the future holds for me and work but with lots of prayer and contemplation we will figure it out.

We had another doctor appointment this week and baby is thriving. She is weighing in just right and her heart rate was 147. Doc says my blood pressure and blood sugar look great too. She was content with my weight gain so I omited my daily sweet tooth confessions. Just found out also that our doctor is 17 weeks pregnant with her second fertility induced baby. Happy day! Doc also offered induction. It took both Mike and me by surprise but we asked loads of questions and feel better about the possibility. We could have this baby a few days earlier than expected if we choose. She may even decide to come earlier than that on her own. This Sunday our count down will be less than 8 weeks!!
