Swagger Wagon

Mike finally got me a small, economical car that would be gas efficient, have a forever warranty and zip around town with ease. We all fit in it... nice and tight. It was new, would soon be paid off and I was going to keep it until the end of time.

Then we had an experience of a lifetime one evening. The 5 of us were packed like sardines, when all of the sudden Myka wasn't happy. Not at all. And couldn't be consoled. She screamed and cried for what seemed like an eternity until we could get home and get her out of the car seat. There is no doubt that each of us suffered a certain amount of ear damage from this ride home and Mike and I decided that we needed some space between Myka's decibels and our ears.

We are now the proud owners of a minivan together. And I love it more than I thought I would!! It's new, shiny, has a lot of space and has all the bells and whistles I don't need. Most important, I feel like a real mom. :-)
