First day of school today! WooHoo!! Kids weren't so excited, well the boys anyway. Maddie is up for just about anything with a smile on her face. I took them to school today to make sure they got to class on their own. They are just about out-growing that. Maddie loves her teacher and they suit each other fine as her teacher is very bubbly. All day Maddie has claimed that she wants to be the teacher's pet. Wherever that came from! Zack is our shy one but managed to make a new friend. (His two best buddies from last year were put into other classes this year and he was bummed.) They came home at 3:30p having survived the day. Graham strolled in around 4:30p and his comments when asked how was his day, was "ok." That's teen talk for "I had a great day and thanks for asking. You are the best!" I, on the other hand, had a great day! Started on laundry first thing this morning and it is so nice to have it all done on a Monday. Actually worked out today too. I went walking for about 15 minutes and was bored out of my mind so I came back home to pick up my bike and rode about 35 minutes. It felt good! Of course I should have know that just when I got good and stinky, sweaty with my hair a mess under my helmet I would run into three friends walking home from unloading their kiddos. Figures! Anyone know of a source of really good non-rap, non-heavy metal workout music that'll get me pumped? I hope to turn a new leaf this year and really dedicate myself to exercise. Oh and also scripture reading, temple attendance, family history, food storage, church callings, house cleaning, etc. You get the picture! And then somewhere in there, I'm supposed to be picking up a full load of home health patients. Yikes. Can't wait until tomorrow! Hope everyone else had as great a day as we did!
