iPod #1 - Went swimming for hours. Couldn't be revived immediately so lived in a coma in a bag of rice for weeks. Finally decided to come alive one day. Missing a few screws metophorically speaking but perfoms well. Great back up.
iPod #2 - Smarter than Ipod #1 and had warranty. But started to have some battery problems so was sent to boot camp. Came back with a better attitude. Much later was having problems with loose screen and was about to be sent back to boot camp but first went jumping at Sky Zone with Zack and played hide and seek in 4 foot deep foam for months.
After weeks of calling Sky Zone and talking to several employees and managers it was determined that this iPod was a gonner. But as luck would have it, out of the blue, Zack received an email from the GPS stating that it had been relocated to an address in Houston. Mike spoke to the Sky Zone Manager again explaining the situation and was told that there was a strict employee rule against taking home found items but was again, unable to receive any information on this address or the iPod. After an unsuccessful attempt at talking to the county Deputy, Mike decided to load up the boys and check it out on his own. I was nervous and decided to stay home so that someone would be available to raise Maddie. Long story short, they confronted this young man (21-22?), still living with his parents and apparently working at Sky Zone (not for long?) He claimed that he bought it from someone for a hefty price but Mike showed him the paperwork that matched the serial number and it was eventually relinquished and back into the arms of it's beloved, original owner. Zack.
iPod #2 - Home sweet home. Still with loose screen so shipped back to boot camp for correction. Will iPod #2 make it home safe and sound, will it be replaced, or will it decide to escape for another wild adventure.
To possibly be continued....
